ARE YOU A LIAR ? | podcast

comments 18

after watching the documentary (dis)honesty, we just felt like we had to talk about this – lying !
what an incredibly exciting, important, and fun topic. we should talk about this more often ! the documentary highlights some super interesting points about dishonesty, rationalisation, cheating, and being able to look ourselves in the mirror. and like most things, it’s a highly social activity !

we talk about :
– are we liars ?
– why do we lie ?
– is it bad ?
– are there ever good lies ?
– is there a difference between lying and exaggerating ?
– why david hates sales people !?

and of course, it wouldn’t feel like tuesday without david’s semi-funny anecdote about people we don’t know : this week it’s all about the lovely swedish guy kim who behaved both very cleverly and very gentlemany after having is wallet stolen !

you can listen to us here below, on acastitunes, or most other places they have podcasts.

  1. Your podcasts are always so fun! I always listen to them while doing drawing homework. I’m obsessed with your content!

  2. You are both so super and naturals with the podcasts and videos. It’s a joy to listen to you. Love that Swedish/English accent. Hope to hear more about Girona and Barcelona. What an interesting time to be in Catalonia. Keep up the good work and may you continue to grow and prosper.

  3. Your blog inspires me every time when I read it. I love reading blogs. I don’t excite always by reading blog posts. But in your blog I find something that implies in blogging. Anyway, you’re unquestionably a great blogger and you have a skill to make your reader to keep reading your blog again and again. Keep up the magnificent work. Continue moving the people!

  4. I first found you on youtube. The end of video snips of your podcast were so funny. So thank you youtube for helping me finding you. Listening while doing housework and journaling
I have done little white lies on the dumb stuff like David. But like you Jenny I’m so scared and trusting I don’t do big lies. My husband also points out liars like David to help me. I am too trusting.

  5. I was just looking for persuasive speech topics. I think this information will be useful to me.
What should start any successful performance? The answer is simple with a pause. It doesn’t matter what your speech is a detailed presentation for a few minutes or a short presentation of the next speaker – you have to achieve silence in the hall.

  6. It was a wonderful chance to visit this kind of site and I am happy to know. Thank you so much for giving us a chance to have this opportunity! I will be back soon for updates.

  7. No matter how many times students are reminded to sleep and eat right, this advice often gets pushed aside in college. After all, what’s more fun: ordering an extra cheese pizza with your friends at 2:30 in the morning or going to sleep at 10 after a sensible dinner? But taking care of your health in college is essential to doing your best in the classroom (not to mention feeling good outside of it). Eating well will give your body the energy to focus and perform well in studies. Sleeping proper hours, especially before a test, will allow your brain to process and synthesize all the concepts coherently. Studies show that people who get quality sleep right after studying will recall things better than people who don’t. After all the hard work, treat your body and brain to some well-deserved rest!

  8. Your minimalist blog inspired me to take the same approach in my work and in my life. So now I take more time for self-reflection and try work and live more holistically

  9. Your blog is great. I am also in favor of minimalism style. It’s pure and it’s great. If only I could completely get rid of the things I don’t need, such as needless activities in college, for example writing assignments. We need to do more by doing less.
