RECIPE : christmas treat – peanut & almond pralines

today i went to the launch party of new vegan magazine vegourmet ~ and they showed my latest recipe video at the party.
the recipe is for peanut & almond pralines, and it’s from vegourmet’s first issue.

the perfect christmas treat, healthier than normal with no white sugar, milk or gluten. instead packed with fruit, nuts and maple syrup. and don’t forget the lush organic dark chocolate on top ~

peanut & almond pralines full recipe:
2 1/2 dl almonds
1 dl dates
1 dl peanut butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
100 g organic dark chocolate

instructions:
– mix almonds and dates in a food processor, roll into small balls and flatten them a bit
– mix peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a small bowl
– put a small amount of the mix on the almond balls and put them in the freezer for an hour
– melt the dark chocolate, carefully roll the frozen pralines and let them cool on a waxed paper

      i used pb with salt, but i think either kind would work fine :)

  1. Hello Jenny! Could you recommend a blender for this sort of recipes ? is 400W power enough? I’m planning to get one to make sweets like this and vegan cheese but have about 50euro to spend.. any ideas?
