this week it’s all about reaching your goals, or not exactly, this is more about what happens when you have reached your goals,
what becomes the next step ?

we talk about :
– why everyone should read f scott fitzgerald !
– how jenny feels about goals that she’s reached !
– how david feels about goals that he’s reached !
– what demands should we put on ourselves ?
– how can we appreciate our victories ?
– does it make you happy to start a new job or a new degree ?
– is reaching a goal ever enough to be happy – forever !?

and of course, it wouldn’t feel like tuesday without david’s semi-funny anecdote about people we don’t know : this week it’s all about the mad pooper, david’s favourite american villain.

you can listen to us here below, on acastitunes, or most other places they have podcasts.

  1. I don’t know if this podcast was inspired my my comment in your last podcast but it really resonates with what I asked you to talk about. And thank you for that, if that’s the case! Because I feel exactly the same – it’s so hard to reach that point where you feel like “you have reached a good place in your life”. I always want more and I never feel completely happy with what I have. That sucks but I’m glad I can connect to you.

  2. And btw, I have no problem in hearing you. I can hear you guys perfectly well :)

  3. Thank you, made me realize why I am so damn happy right now, even though I am not doing any of the things I ever dreamt of. But I am working towards it, and that is what makes a good day for me, achieving a small step towards my life goals. And dreaming and deciding on new goals. But yeah, i am the type that will start dreaming of something new, as soon as I step over to the certainty that this is now going to be my life, and there is nothing more to do. But I think I have found the formula for relative happiness in my own life. And I hope everyone else can do too. BTW I am cooking now, always listening to your podcast while doing the kind of calm cooking with a recipe.

  4. everytime I read one of your posts or watch one of your videos I just feel really inspired.. But this podcast was just so good…
Thank you so much Jenny :)

  5. Thank you so much for this podcast. I finally understand why reaching my goals never really makes me happy – in that regard I’m exactly like Jenny is describing herself. Actually, a psychologist once tried to explain that to me when I was talking about always being disappointed at parties and only liking anticipating and getting ready for it with my friends – but I didn’t understand what they were trying to get across. With your explanation I got it and it makes me feel so at ease. ;>
