MY NEW FAV HOME DECOR PIECES | kähler collab

this is the second part of the little home decor inspo project i’m doing as a collaboration with brilliant danish design house kähler, to bring some spring freshness into our homes – the minimalist way of course!
see the other styling i made with kähler here.

in this post, i’ve used the gorgeous white ceramic vases of the hammershøi series. and wow, how they have improved the overall feel of our office. as you know, i like to keep it simple, so i’ve used plants that have a clean and serene look. they all also stay fresh long, so that you don’t have to deal with the annoyance of buying flowers that go dying on you after just a few days.

the twigs in the largest vase are a swedish spring time classic – pussy willow ( yes, that’s its real name). in the middle sized vase is of course eucalyptus, with its mellow soft green shade. in the three small bud vases i’ve just put a few mint leaves from my kitchen mint pot. they smell so delicious as you walk by them !

these vases instantly became my new fav home decor items. there’s something about them that just adds som much luxury and calmness to the room. i also think they’re beautiful all in themselves even without flowers. you guys know how i feel about white ^.^

btw, you can also see a few other kähler products in these pics. like the coffee table with storage called unit, and the ceramic bowls and plates from the ombria series.

today is my 2nd day here in portland after two weeks in LA. i’m having a great time and everything, but just looking at these pics that i took before the trip makes me miss my home in berlin actually. i haven’t had that feeling in years !
