PODCAST : are you a feminist ?

comments 10

this week will be all about feminism in our podcasts. and we’re starting off today by talking about how we see feminism !
– how it has affected our lives
– what it means for our relationship
– how we incorporate the concept into our everyday life
– is the male sex really physically stronger ?

we also talk about how we feel about LA, as well as that time that we met a real life superhero – with the most useless power ever !

scroll down to listen, or subscribe to us on itunes !

on thursday there will be a MUSTARD ON MOVIES episode about our top 5 best girl power movies. it was so much fun recording these two episodes, and i’m sure you’ll dig the feminist vibes of this week’s chats.

thank you to our listener shannon who requested the feminist theme. yep, that’s right – we take requests !
this was such great idea for a podcast episode, and we really enjoy talking earnestly and casually with you all.
if you have a request, tell us on instagram : @themustards_

thanks for listening and for your comments and support on itunes. it really makes this so much more fun !

  1. first time listening to your podcast (finally!), and now i’ll listen to all of them!

it’s great when i want to listen to you two while i do chores or am too busy to look at my screen. appreciate the long episode as well. keep it up!

  2. As a non-binary person, whenever I go to a Christian gathering and see the girls and boys in separate groups, it frustrates me to no end. I mean why!? Why do this to yourself?! Then not only that, but the girl who hangs out with the guys is automatically labelled a “slut”, and the guy who hangs out with the girls is “gay”!

  3. Just going to unsubscribe from Netflix and binge listen to all of your podcasts instead.

  5. Imo if feminism isn’t intersectional then it’s futile – this social structure is based on gender (yes) but also class, racial identity, whether you are able-bodied or not etc. It is multi-layered and people can be discriminated upon for many or few of these areas.
Loving these podcasts by the way!!! Much love from the U.K x

  6. Have you watched “The Hunt” with Mads Mikkelsen? It’s a drama about a man who becomes the target of mass hysteria after being wrongly accused of sexually abusing a child in his kindergarten class. Im sure you’re gonna like it ;) I L o v e your podcasts!

  7. You two are so smart; I love the positivity and how constructive your conversation is. I feel like a big part of my personal strength is built on feminist art and culture; like I can’t even help being a feminist, not that I’d want to, so I love hearing you talk about it so articulately and with a sense of hopefulness.

  8. Men are built for fighting. Women are built for surviving. Whoever in nature cary the offsprings inside a body must have the body which can survive,… a lot.

  9. David’s semi-funny anectote was amazing, I laughed so much!
I’ve discovered your podcast since about 2 weeks and making my way through them all. It is so interesting, funny and sweet, well done! Love from France x
