RECIPE : easiest ever raw vegan fudge

comments 10

i’ve made a bonus video this week and boy is this one a treat. the simplest raw vegan fudge ever, with just 2 ingredients. yep 2 ingredients.

raw vegan fudge :
250 ml / 1 cup macadamia nuts (about 140g)
250 ml / 1 cup dates (about 185g)

– blend until smooth
– spread out and freeze for at least 4-5 hours
– cut into squares and keep in the freezer for when that craving for something sweet pops up.

i told you this was easy – a truly minimalist recipe ^^
if you have a david at home like i do, you have to be quick though. they will disappear quickly.

  2. This looks so super easy and delicious ! Pretty sure, I will try it the next days ! Just another question. I want to buy a new blender and I really don’t know how much power I need, cuz’ my old one is not strong enough for most of the smoothie and sauce stuff, you post here :( Can you recommend something ?

i just got a new blendtec, and it’s truly amazing. i can really recommend it ! it’s expensive though. used to have a wilfa before, and that’s great too in that price class :D

  4. Just made this with a little vanilla and lemon zest. Tastes like cookie dough, so good!

  5. Do you think it would work with differnet nuts:> macadamia nuts are imposible to get in poland:(

I have not tries it but maybe cashews or even sunflower seeds? It is worth a try. Trys in much smaller amount.

If you need macademia nuts if your cutsoms allows i am happy to send some i do it on the odd occasion for people :)

  6. This is currently setting in the freezer as I type! It was a little hard to blend (maybe my blender is not strong enough) so I added about a cup and a half of water to speed things along. I think I will use less water last time, but it came out with the consistency of a sticky oatmeal cookie dough – and tastes just as good. Am excited to see how it all tastes in 4 hours! Thank you for posting this recipe!

  8. I loved this simple recipe. But for me I’ve found a food processor works much better. The first time I was scared I was going my blender if I didn’t stop.
