RECIPE : new year’s treat – hors d’oeuvres

just thought i’d wish you a happy new year with another little recipe video ¸¸.•*¨* .。.:*☆¸¸.•*❉

hors d’oeuvres full recipe:

grilled pepper:
1 cubanelle pepper, halved and cut in smaller pieces
200g green lentils, cooked
8 green olives, sliced
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
4 mint leaves, chopped
lemon juice, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
walnuts, roughly chopped

apple slices:
1/2 apple, halved and thinly sliced
1 avocado
1/2 shallot, finely chopped
3-4 cm horseradish, grated
a few stalks of chives, chopped
lemon juice, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste

instructions:
– grill the pepper in a dry pan on high heat, a few minutes on each side
– mix the rest of the ingredients, except for the walnuts, add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste
– place the mix on the pepper pieces, and garnish with the walnuts
– put the apple slices in a bit of lemon juice. this will make sure the apple doesn’t brown
– mix the other ingredients, except for half of the shallot and half of the chives
– place the mix on the apple halves and garnish with the rest of the shallot and chives
