WORKING OUT : relaxing pilates video

a while back i wrote about my daily exercise routine and got quite a few questions, especially about my pilates workout. therefore i decided to show you guys what it looks like and at the same time invite you to work out together with me.

if you try this routine out – let me know what you think, did this relax you ? do you feel strengthened and stretched ?

    to be honest i haven’t been exercising regularly for a very very long time and i work in an office environment and that made my health worse. i decided to try yours and my, it really stretched my core out! i thought i wouldn’t perspire much but i did!

    by the way, i really like your look. i think you’re very pretty.

    • Rebecca, use the search function on YouTube, and you will find so many Pilates videos. I usually watch a few minutes to determine if I like the teacher’s style, etc. Good luck!

  8. I’m a new reader of your blog/new viewer on your youtube-channel, and I really liked this workout video; I tried it yesterday and today I’m totally sore all over:)

    I liked that it was both relaxing (without a lot of talking), down to earth (no colorful spandex, shouting, etc.) and effective (ouch!), and I’m actually thinking about ditching my fitness-membership and workout at home instead.

    Do you think you’ll be doing any more workout videos?

  11. I love your outfit and hair in this video! You are a huge inspiration to me. I suffer from a bit of social anxiety so I find it hard to go to the gym or yoga classes but I want to really get into yoga because it is so relaxing and a great way to start your day. Thanks for sharing this and I can’t wait to get into relaxation and flexibility :)

      Alyssa, good luck with pilates, it does make me calmer! I, too, prefer to workout alone – it’s a time to concentrate on myself and my body, and I was anxious about going to a yoga studio. When I finally plucked up the courage and went, the yoga teachers were lovely, and the others really welcoming and nice, without being too much, as they were busy with themselves, as well! :) So if it fits in your scedule, I’d encourage you to check a yoga lesson out, it could even help with the anxiety issues to be in a welcoming and “safe” environment! And as with flexibility: I’m doing this routine since about a month, aiming for 5-6 times a week, and i can already see the results, it’s great! :)

I love how these movements are small and gentle yet very effective. I didn’t think I would but I felt warmed up, awake and relaxed after only 30 mins. Thank you so much for this!

So I really appreciate your sharing this with us: The classical music & your quiet speaking voice makes doing this exercise peaceful & enjoyable. I exercise with you twice now and I feel relaxed and stronger. Thanks!

  14. Hello, I’m a new follower and tried your Pilates workout and loved it. However today I tried to access the video and it says it is not available? Was it taken down or moved? I’m ready to workout again!
