ASK THE VEGAN DR : pros and cons of a vegan diet

meet my friend david stenholtz – consultant of oncology, and chairman of the swedish organisation läkare för framtiden (physicians for the future), or as i like to call him – the vegan super doctor !

needless to say, it’s really great knowing someone who’s an even bigger nutrition nerd than myself, to ask whatever questions come to mind. and i think everyone should have the same opportunity. so i’ve interviewed david in this short video about the health pros and cons of being vegan.

i don’t know if you guys have noticed, but in my experience it’s quite common that as soon as you talk about being vegan, or thinking of going vegan, everyone’s a nutrition expert – bombarding you with questions on anything from protein deficiencies to the sinister cover-ups of the soy industry. so this video is meant to be a way of laying it out simply and clearly : what do we really need know about vegan health ? all based on sound science of course.

if you guys think it’s a good idea, i’d love to have david back again – to answer your questions on nutrition and vegan health. so do let me know if you’d like me to make more videos with david. just ask us anything in the comments below, or by reaching out to any of my social media pages, and we’ll try our best to answer all your questions !

if you can read swedish, find tons of more nutrition info on david’s organisation’s website läkare för framtiden, or follow them on facebook for the latest news on nutrition.

if you don’t speak swedish but like to know more on nutrition and health, i recommend nutritionfacts.org and physicians committee for responsible medicine, both of whom are basing their content on current scientific finds, and are to my knowledge sincere and trustworthy.

that’s it for today kids ^^
i wish you a very happy and healthy day !
