INTERIOR : going vintage furniture shopping

i love the eco-friendliness and one-of-a-kind bargain aspect of recycling furniture. online shopping is of course hard to beat, but here in stockholm people selling their stuff online really take incredible overprices most of the time. so i was happy to stumble upon refurn, a vintage furniture shop chain with 5 locations (i think) in stockholm. they re-sell furniture and knick-knacks that people threw out, or that were left in estates. which means affordable prices.

so me and david went to one of their shops the other day. and it was quite nice. great prices (well for being stockholm anyway), and very nicely selected stuff. as you can see in the pics, the shop looks quite neat and you don’t have to wade through tons of junk to find that one piece that you want. we ended up buying 3 large, classic white plates for 3€ altogether. they were very similar to plates we’ve been looking at in another shop for 10€ each so i’m pleased ^^

what’s your favourite thrift shop bargain ?
