MINIMALISM : is your hobby too messy to be minimalist ?

i love our interaction you guys !
( ok, not all of the time – there are som seriously mean haters out there too )
so one of the things i find so rewarding with reading your comments is that you ask about things that i myself never would have thought about. in other words – you make me think.

and this video is the result of a question a lot of you have been asking for a quite some time now : what do i do if i want to live like a minimalist but have a very messy hobby or job that requires a lot of supplies and equipment ?

this is how i feel about it :

tell me how you feel !

take me for example. my hobby kind of is my job as a lifestyle blogger / youtuber. it means that i have a bunch of stuff at home that i of course wouldn’t have if i weren’t into fashion, interior design, beauty, photography, and food at all.
that has never made me felt less minimalistic at all.
i have a hobby and job that i love and that i focus most of my time, energy and money on. i don’t waste myself on things that are unimportant to me. and that, to me, is living a simplified, focused, and minimalistic life.

i feel like the more i study the concept of minimalism, the looser the term feels. like it means totally different things to each and every minimalist out there.
i find that interesting, fascinating, and lovely. like we minimalists aren’t dogmatic or rigid or excluding. like we instead we are curious and forgiving and open-minded. i like that. i like that a lot.
