MINIMALISM : what is minimalism ? | part 1 | concept explained
so guys, like i say in the video, ever since i’ve started making becoming minimalist videos, i’ve noticed that there seem to be a lot of preconceptions of what a minimalist really is.
i might have come across as a person only owning 50 items, not caring about clothes or kitchen ware, getting rid of things just for the sake of it. this is very far from my reality, and i just wanted to make a few things clear about how i feel about the word minimalism.
in this first part, i go through the different definitions of the words that are out there, figuring out if we can make sense of the term at all.
in the second part, just a few days from now, i apply these definitions on my own lifestyle, and explain a bit more about what my own personal minimalist lifestyle looks like.
( edit : you can watch the 2nd part here )
let me know if you have any questions at all !
i’ve got a bunch more becoming miminalist episodes planned ( so many videos – so little time ), but if you have a request on an issue that interests you – please let me know !
feel free to check out the blog post where i try to divide the different types of minimalists into 6 categories – which one are you ?
