RECIPE : christmas treat - snowballs
ok guys, here we go ! the 6th and final CHRISTMAS TREAT video this time around ¸¸.•*¨*☆¨❉i hope you've liked watching as much as i've enjoyed making them !for the final episode, i'm making deliciously kawaii sushi rice snowballs, filled with a fig and apple chutney.all while looking extra special festive just for you of course lolpsssst !i might make a little new years special just for the heck of it.tune in next sunday to find out.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4zDtoXcc0Echristmas treat : snowballs full recipe(about 3-4 snowballs)1 dl suchi rice (or other short grained rice)1.5 dl plant milk (i used oat)2 tsp agave syrup1/2 red apple, diced4 figs, diced1 cm ginger, gratedpinch of nutmeg1/2 tsp cinnamonpinch of chilli2 tbsp water1/2 dl almondsinstructions:- pour milk and rice in a pot and bring to a boil. lower heat and let simmer for 20 mins- remove from heat and let steam for another 10 mins or so. let cool off- add the remaining ingredients, except for the almonds, to a pan and heat on medium heat for about 10 mins, until the apple and figs start braking apart and become a mushy chutney- chop the almonds-when the rice has cooled, roll a ball with some of it. flatten it slightly, and add some fig chutney. make another flat half of the rice, and put on top of the chutney. roll it a bit in the palm of your hands, and you got yourself a cute little snowball !- repeat with the rest of the rice, and roll all your snowballs in the chopped almonds- last but not least, have yourself a merry little christmas, or whatever holiday you'll be celebrating ! go on - make your own and have some mulled wine. i know i will !love // jenny
